Welcome to Teacher Tea – where you get the fun scoop on teachers at the Acad. A couple of teachers are selected and a few quick questions are asked in order that the student body may more personally know our beloved faculty members. This edition’s spotlight is on Mr. Harrison Lajba, who teaches Latin and English, and Ms. Yvonne Vasquez, who teaches Spanish.

Road/lived off my bicycle for 10 days straight riding back and forth across Iowa.
A paleontologist or a wild land firefighter.

Ms. Vasquez's responses:

My favorite movie is Back to the future.
My favorite meal is all kinds of pasta.
I could be in Greece, for the food and the style of life.
I Surfed when I was young.
I wanted to be an interior designer.
