Howdy, Doves! My name is Raquel Martinez and I am ecstatic for my second year in SSA’s news production team, The Nest. In addition to being a journalist, I sing and take part in cross country, choir, the Benedictine/Marian Players, the Honor Societies and so many clubs at SSA! I can’t believe I am already a senior in the class of 2025! I can’t wait to spend every waking moment loving my last days as a dove of the Academy. Trust me doves, my contribution to The Nest. will sprout forth some of the sweetest most authentic, intriguing articles! I look forward to a GREAT year before I soar out of The Nest.
