Since 1903, Saint Scholastica Academy has fostered a deep enrichment of its pillars: Prayer, Work, Study and Community into the ever-growing student body. Over these last few weeks, the SSA HOSA organization and SSA’s basketball and soccer teams exhibited the pillar of Community by hosting fundraisers for organizations within the community and on a national scale. For those of you who have never heard of these organizations before, this article serves as research into the missions of these organizations. The link to each organization’s website is attached so you can continue to learn more about them and donate if possible.

Students at SSA truly understand what it means to embody the four pillars of our school community, and we must work to continue this long-standing tradition. To the students at SSA, stay invested in the world around you. Keep listening and learning and fighting for the things that need to be changed in our world. Most importantly keep helping those in need. We do more, because we love more! Keep doing more for your community!
